Thanks to all...

who participated in the Orange County Debate League workshop this past Saturday at Edgewood. There were 58 students from 8 schools represented, and many of them Fairmont's own. Our demo debate "Cheerleading should be an official sport" went very well, thanks to those who participated, including Alexandra Mowrey, Rochelle Rouhani, Keivon Akbari, and Anjali Narang.

Coming up next - OCDL's Scramble, set for October 24th in a location TBD. Check with your coaches about signups for that.
Topics as are such:
The Olympics should permit performance-enhancing clothing.
The obese should pay more for health care.
On balance, Governor Schwarzenegger has done more good than harm.
